Find The Light

untitled-22

One of my new year’s resolutions this year was to produce more editorial content. Creative content, a collection of my thoughts, my style pushed passed barriers I didn’t know existed and always with a nod to the thousands of magazines you’d find spread across my bedroom floor as a teen. You see, before social media and before project runway, I had magazines and catalogs (either what I was able to afford or from our local library). I’ve always loved how I could open a fashion spread and rules didn’t apply. Models wore scarves on their head, stuck our their torsos in weird angles and all in the name of perfect lighting and the “money shot!” I grew up craving something different from the norm and so I promised myself that this year I would find those moments where I could do just that. So aside from my usual style or beauty post, I’m going to bring you something just a little different this year. And if you like it, dope. If not, I’m glad you stopped by either way. So today I present my first editorial: Find the Light.
