My Favorite Spanx Leggings

I go through this wear-all-black-all-the-time phase every so often. Usually when it’s colder. Usually when I’m so over everything in my closet it’s like a silent protest my body does. And ALWAYS when I’m in doubt of what to wear. So I was going through that time of my life again when I nearly had my socks blown off because Spanx asked me to be part of their ambassador program. Yes, SPANX. Like the fajas your mom used back in the day and then all of a sudden you left for college, gained the freshman 15 and realized, “damn I need something to keep all these curves in check!” Yep, those. So I did like any girl and called my mom to let her know that all those fajas I stole from her closet all those years ago were coming back into my life! New collaborations, new inspiration to try something new – but wait…

You can imagine my excitement when I learned that Spanx not ONLY does underwear, hosiery, bras, but jeans and leggings, too! I saw these liquid leggings and KNEW I met my match. Luis has asked me every weekend so far if I’m going to decide to wear anything else in my closet because I cannot – and will not – take these off. I have a few good problems. 1: they go with everything. 2: they go with everything and amplify typically whatever looks into, “um.. where are you going?” 3: they make me feel damn good. Everything is in it’s place. Perfectly tucked in and I can still walk, eat and breathe with them on. So I don’t know if you’re running to the store yet but LET ME TELL YOU – I might need a few back-ups. I found this ruched dress from H&M, added a fur jacket, some gloomy weather and BAM Spanx Leggings FTW, guys. For the mf win!
